CS2 skin marketplaces compared

Every marketplace CSSkinLab pulls prices from, side by side: how it delivers items, what it charges, how you get money out, and how much of the CS2 catalogue we price there right now. Fees are what we have on file; the number at checkout always wins.

Frequently asked questions

How many CS2 skin marketplaces does CSSkinLab track?
CSSkinLab tracks 42 CS2 skin marketplaces, 23 of them with live prices right now. The widest catalogues right now are CSBoard (35,433 items), BUFF163 (33,612 items) and Skin.Land (28,863 items); 15 markets price at least a quarter of the items the biggest one does. Use the table to compare delivery type, seller and buyer fees and cash-out options; every item page then shows the cheapest of these markets for that exact skin.
Which CS2 marketplace has the lowest fees?
Seller fees range from about 2% on peer-to-peer sites like CSFloat to 15% on the Steam Community Market. The table on this page lists the seller and buyer fee we have on file for every market we track; sort by seller fee to compare. Remember that a low fee on a site with few buyers can still net you less than a higher fee where the item sells fast.
What is the difference between a P2P marketplace, a marketplace and a bot trading site?
On a peer-to-peer site you buy directly from another player and the site escrows the payment until the Steam trade completes. On a marketplace the site (or its bots) already holds the item, so delivery is instant. Bot trading sites swap skins from your inventory against their own stock, with the fee built into the exchange rate.
Can I cash out real money from CS2 skins?
Not from Steam — Steam Wallet funds can only be spent on Steam. Third-party markets pay out by bank transfer, PayPal, card or crypto depending on the site and your country. Each market page lists the cash-out methods we have verified.
Why are Steam prices higher than other markets?
Because Steam money is locked to Steam. Sellers accept a lower cash price elsewhere in exchange for money they can actually withdraw, which is why cash markets usually sit 20–30% under Steam and why buying on a cash market and selling on Steam can look profitable on paper (see our arbitrage page for the fees that eat into that).
How does CSSkinLab get prices from these markets?
We poll each market’s public listings or API on a schedule, store the lowest live price per item and market, and compute a cross-market median that filters outliers. The "prices updated" time on each market shows how fresh that feed is right now.
Is it safe to trade on these sites?
The markets listed here are established sites we have tracked for months, but any trade can go wrong. Always confirm the item, float and stickers inside the Steam trade window, never accept a trade from a "bot" that contacts you first, and keep Steam Guard mobile enabled so you can see every offer before it goes through.
